The System kess only uses brick slips made of 100% pure clay. This natural raw material provides vivid colours and visually appealing easy-care surfaces. Our insulating bricks are resistant to environmental influences and therefore extremely long-lasting and maintenance-free. The installation of the insulating brick panels is quick, easy and without any foundations.
But what is most important: You will save over 40% of your energy costs with the breathable insulating bricks from kess. In addition, the brick surface will also ensure sufficient air exchange, prevent moisture and fungal infestation.
Safe and reliable
THE THERMALLY INSULATED BRICK FAÇADES FROM SYSTEM KESS HAVE LOW FLAMMABILITY
For environmental and fire protection reasons, we principally do not use any polystyrene! The System kess uses polyurethane as the insulating material and is thus classified as having low flammability (fire protection class B1). Since the adhesive tensile strength of our brick slips is several times greater than that of individually bonded stone-wool or polystyrene systems, the risk of propagation of fires is reduced as well.
This characteristic was repeatedly confirmed in independent tests with various thermal insulation composite systems. In addition, our system is the only German ETICS [ => WDVS => external thermal insulation composite system] that passed the LEPIR 2 major fire test.
For many years already, System kess has been approved and monitored for quality in Germany (Z-10.3-763), France (CSTB AVIS Technique) and Poland (APROBATA TECHNICZNA ITB AT-15-8316/2010).
